morning at 8:30 am there was an attempted break in.

Crime scene officer was Parker - Dusted for finger prints
House has an alarm system. Windows on street side have burglar bars but windows on neighborhood side are small paned windows that are seriously painted shut.
Description of perpetrator:
African American Male
Med-light blue and white hoodie, possibly wool
Wide spread nose
Late teens to early twenties
Approx. 5'8" to 5'10" hunched over
possible green fatigue pants
Was carrying a metal hammer used to break glass and attempted breaking of latch and wood work.
