We take no glee in celebrating an award that stems from a terrible situation, in which a man was killed in front of his children while trying to prevent a neighbor from being victimized. But we are proud of making a difficult ethical decision that brought further attention to this practice of the NOPD. We are able to produce stories like this thanks to your support.
